My husband and I have built, purchased and renovated nine homes and our Lucchetta Homes buying and building experience far exceeds any we have had. We knew from word-of-mouth that Lucchetta built a superior product and that their finishing carpentry and attention to detail was the best in the region. What we were less prepared for was a buying experience that matched the quality of the ‘forever home’ we were planning to build.

Rob and Ed Lucchetta were personally involved. When issues arose, as is to be expected when building a custom home, they were responsive, empathetic and resolved the issues to our satisfaction. Our experience with Lucchetta was beyond our expectations. We researched almost all of the Active Adult Communities in Ontario to find our perfect retirement home. Lucchetta offered the best community, home designs, and layouts. From the moment we first spoke with a sales representative we knew this is where our search ended. We immediately put our existing home up for sale and began the home building process with Lucchetta. Gavin was probably the most efficient professional we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Our inquiries were responded to in a timely manner, in most cases immediately. Our upgrade choices were addressed and priced out clearly and immediately. We were kept in the loop every step of the way.

Wendi the designer was professional and offered good recommendations, while at the same time working with our recommendations and ideas and needs. The finished product was on time and outstanding. The quality of the construction of our home exceeded our expectations. The standard finishings were clearly above what an average builder would provide. In 2021, we came across Lucchetta Homes in Hunters Pointe Welland quite by accident while driving through the area. We were immediately impressed with the beautifully designed exteriors of the bungalows and townhomes, something we had not seen before in other communities. We bought the last available townhome at the time. Although we had limited contact with the builders during construction due to the pandemic, we were completely satisfied with the finished product.

The experience of living in a beautiful community, having all the amenities offered at Hunters Pointe, and wonderful neighbours who have become friends, there was no hesitation in our decision to purchase our second Lucchetta home, which we have just moved into. This time around, we had the opportunity to work with the entire team from beginning to end. From Rob and Ed Lucchetta, the designers, operational staff, and the family of tradespeople, we could not expect a better experience.

I know that it sounds ‘cliché, but Lucchetta homes really did create our dream home. We started with a piece of empty land and an idea on paper. We were so naïve! Ed and Rob helped us take that idea and determine 1) how much it would cost, 2) how long it would take to build and 3) how to make it happen. Lou took our idea and turned it into our daughters’ ‘fairy tale castle’. The beautiful finishes and practical suggestions turned our plan into a home that we are so proud of. Lucchetta’s contractors and tradesmen are professional and courteous. We were provided with the advantage of Ed’s building expertise on the job site and his advice on a regular basis.

Lucchetta helped coordinate the entire build from permits, to construction, to putting us in contact with their internal decorator to help choose finishes. At first the project seemed intimidating and overwhelming, but the completed product; a place where we are raising our family was so worth the effort. Over a period of time we consulted various builders with a view to build a new home. Fortunately, for us, in 2005 we discovered Lucchetta Homes in Timmsdale Estates, Fonthill, Ontario. We decided to entrust them with the design and construction of a bungalow.
