Lucchetta Homes is proud to announce that The Brock model at WaterCrest at Hunters Pointe has been named Best Detached Production Home (1,800–2,100 sq. ft.) at the prestigious 2026 Canadian Home Builders’ Association (CHBA) National Awards for Housing Excellence.
The winners were announced in Québec City during the Glitter & Groove Awards Bash, presented by LG Electronics Canada, which served as the grand finale event of CHBA’s Home Building Week in Canada. The national awards recognize the very best in new home construction, design, innovation, community development, and residential marketing across the country. This year’s competition featured more than 900 entries across 49 categories, judged by nearly 300 industry professionals from across Canada.

The award-winning Brock model, located within Lucchetta Homes’ WaterCrest community at Hunters Pointe in Welland, Ontario, was recognized for its exceptional architectural design, functionality, craftsmanship, and overall appeal to today’s homebuyers.
“This award is incredibly meaningful to us,” said Rob and Ed Lucchetta, Owners of Lucchetta Homes. “It’s a true testament to the dedication, passion, and talent of our entire team. Every home we build is designed with our homeowners in mind; from functionality and comfort to long-term quality and craftsmanship. To receive this kind of national recognition for all the hard work that goes into these homes is something we’re extremely proud of.”
“As a Niagara-based builder, it’s also an honour to represent our region on the national stage,” they added. “We’re proud to showcase the level of innovation, design, and quality being built right here in Niagara.”
The CHBA National Awards for Housing Excellence are considered Canada’s premier awards program for the residential construction industry, recognizing outstanding achievements in new homes, renovations, community development, and marketing.
The Brock model at WaterCrest was designed to combine elegant bungalow living with thoughtful layouts, modern finishes, and lifestyle-focused design tailored to active adult homeowners. The recognition further reinforces Lucchetta Homes’ longstanding reputation for creating award-winning communities throughout Niagara.
This national honour adds to Lucchetta Homes’ growing list of industry accolades, including multiple CHBA, OHBA, Niagara Home Builders’ Association, and EnerQuality awards recognizing excellence in homebuilding, sustainability, design, and community development.
Lucchetta Homes would like to thank the Canadian Home Builders’ Association, its industry partners, trades, suppliers, consultants, and homeowners for their continued support and trust.
